Brisbane Affordable Art Fair - with Sarah Birtles Art & Advice
Two large paintings will be featured at the Affordable Art Fair in Brisbane in May with Sarah Birtles Art & Advice. At 120cm x 90cm, these works present challenges in the time they take to create and the detail – and so I am lucky if I manage to complete four in a year.
The painting above is called Recital on a Tole Chandelier. The other large work features Sarus Cranes. There are also four new smaller 50cm x 60cm works.
If you would like to see what is avaiable before the fair, sign up to Sarah's newsletter or contact Sarah for details.
The Fair will be staged at the Brisbane Showgrounds, Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills QLD, Australia. May 8-11.
Three New Limited Edition Prints
Check out the three new limited edition prints, including this lovely swan, who is re-enacting the Princess and the Pea fairytale.
Premium quality jigsaw puzzles
Victory Wooden Puzzles in the UK have created wooden puzzles for those who love the birds and have busy hands! Each one has been designed with special "whimsy" pieces, shapes to reflect the theme of the painting on the front.
The puzzles are intended to be kept for generations to enjoy and my paintings have been 3D scanned for the best possible reproduction.

The stories we are told as children colour our imaginations for a lifetime. It seemed perfectly reasonable that, in sunny Australia, our little heads were full of princesses, castles and European forests.
