Spring snow, Thredbo, Fiona Smith

While the rest of the country grabs a towel for the beach or pool, the vagueries of the weather will sometimes shower the alps with snow. Those lodge-dwellers who have been starting to decorate for Christmas look at the spring shower with delight and fantasise that Santa may have to wear his woolies this December.
