Nesting – black swan

My inspiration for this piece was a very old snapshot of my son as a baby, on a blanket in our washing basket in the backyard. I'd always loved the concept of the baby on the basket (the baby is now 22) and it came to mind when I was thinking up a suitable nest for a black swan. I bought an old blanket from Etsy and arranged it in a basket. The wallpaper is based on the Hemlock design by Harry Napper (1860 - 1930).
